Five Piece Painting - Quite Nights

All of my paintings have a special feeling or mood attached to them.  I have to feel that special way to start and complete them.  Sometimes I will start a painting and not finish it for months, as the mood of the paining didn't strike me again until than.  This is what happened with this painting.  I started back in September and I almost had it finished.  But that dreamy quite night feeling left and I didn't find it again until this past weekend.  FINALLY I have this paining finished and even hung on my wall :O) 

It is in five pieces, for no other reason than I like painting on several pieces of canvas.  People have asked me why don't i just get a larger piece of canvas, but I like them on different pieces.  The different shapes of the canvas can add to the over all piece.  You can't see it in the picture but there is glitter paint in the sky and on the water.  Glitter paint is something new for me, but I think I like it.  It adds something a little different to painting for sure.

I think I might have to invest in a better camera so you can actually see some detail.
